Sofia Margarita Vergara

Sofia Margarita Vergara (Spanish:, born July 10, 1972) is a Colombian American actress and television producer, as well as a presenter and model. Vergara was America's highest-paid actor from 2013 until 2020. Vergara gained prominence hosting two Spanish-language television programs for Univision in the latter half of the 1990s. Chasing Papi (2003) was Vergara's first significant acting gig in English. Vergara was raised in Barranquilla by a Roman Catholic couple. [8] Vergara's mother Margarita Vergara Devergara was a housewife while her father Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo worked as an animal rancher in the meat industry. Her siblings, five in all, and a number of her family members were known as "Toti". Vergara was an undergraduate at National University of Colombia in dentistry. Then she quit after two semesters to pursue modeling opportunities and show business.
